गांडुळ खत - गांडुळ जीवनक्रम - गांडुळाच्या जीवनामध्ये अंडी, बाल्ल्यावस्था आणि पुर्णावस्था अशा तीन अवस्था असतात. या सर्व अवस्थासाठी ओलसर जमीन आवश्यक असते. गांडुळाचा जीवनक्रम प्रामुख्याने त्याच्या जातीवर अवलंबून असतो. पूर्ण वाढ झालेल्या गांडूळामध्ये स्त्री आणि पुरूष जनन असे दोन्हीही अवयव असतात. गांडुळ प्रत्येक सहा ते सात दिवसांनी अंडी टाकते. या अंड्यामध्ये दोन ते वीस गर्भ असतात. अंडी अवस्था हवामानाचे अनुकुलतेनुसार ७ ते २० दिवसांची असते. गांडुळाची अपुर्णावस्था दोन ते तीन महिन्याची असते. त्यानंतर तो जेव्हा पूर्णावस्थेत येतो तेव्हा तोंडाकडील २ ते ३ सें.मी. अंतरावरील अर्धा सें.मी. आकाराचा भाग जाड होतो. हे वयात आलेल्या गांडूळाचे लक्षण होय. सर्वसाधारणपणे गांडुळाचे आयुष्य दोन ते तीन वर्षाचे असते. इसिनीया फेटीडा या जातीच्या पूर्ण वाढ झालेल्या गांडुळाची लांबी १२ ते १५ सें.मी. असते. एका किलोमध्ये सर्वसाधारणपणे पूर्ण वाढ झालेली एक हजार गांडुळे बसतात. अशी एक हजार गांडूळे घेवून त्यांची अनुकुल वातावरणात वाढ केल्यास एका वर्षात त्यांची संख्या आठ लक्ष त्र्याएंशी हजार होते. पिले व प्रौढ गांडुळे एका ...

It is even possible to save consumption of cooking gas at the household level using this charcoal as a household fuel.
